Barbadillo’s Beta has been awarded with a Diamond accolade in the 7^th edition of the Wine & Woman wine competition 2014.
The international wine competition was held in Spain with an entirely feminine jury.  It is unique in the world as it takes into consideration the work of women in the wine sector and only marks wines in which a woman has taken part in at least 50% of its creation, production and sale.
The jury was made up of an important group of women, all of whom carry weight within the world of wine; oenologists, journalists, academics for the Royal Academy of Gastronomy.
Despite its youth – the first harvest of Barbadillo Beta was presented to society in 2009 – Bodegas Barbadillo’s brut is already a benchmark in the market.  It is the fruit of a balanced fusion of tradition and innovation, the true symbols of Barbadillo’s identity.
